NAWALPARASI, June 25: Five people were injured when an unknown group threw a bomb at a bus, Lu 1 kha 6773, which was traveling for an election campaign in Sunwal Municipality-2, Somnath of Nawalparasi.
The bus was carrying cadres of CPN (Maoist Center).
DSP of District Police Office, Nawalparasi, Bishnu Hari Koirala said that the injured are receiving treatment in the Butwal Zonal Hospital where One is in a critical condition.
The incident site is about 100 meters away from the Ilaka Police Office, Sunwal.
Previously, an unknown group had torched fire in a MC van which was carrying cadres of the party.
