KATHMANDU, Sept 6: Five passengers were killed and ten others are missing when a passenger bus fell down 100 meter off the road at Gati VDC-9, of Sindhupalchowk district on Monday morning, Avenus TV reported.
Three bodies were recovered from Khorang while two from Sanobaseri, the TV added. [break]
Meanwhile, the driver, his assistant and a passenger swam out of the river after the bus plunged into the river while the condition of other passengers is unknown.
The number of passengers in the bus with registration plate Ba 2 Kha 4013 was 18, according to police who reached the incident place, 105-km from Kathmadnu.
The bus was heading towards Bahrabise from Tatopani.
