World's shortest persons meet for the 1st time

KATHMANDU, Aug 30: World’s shortest man Chandra Bahadur Dangi (54.6 cm) of Nepal met with world’s shortest woman Jyoti Amge (62.8 cm) of India during the production of a sneak preview of the 57th edition of the world´s best-selling copyright book.



This is the first time in the history that the world’s shortest male and female in the world have met, guinnessworldrecords.com reported. [break]



Dangi was in a traditional Nepali attire while Amge in sari.



Dangi was declared world shortest man on February 26, 2012 after an official measurement of his height at CIWEC Clinic Travel Medicine Center in Lainchaur, Kathmandu.
