Carlsberg offers Rome trips

KATHMANDU, June 4: Carlsberg has offered trips to the historical city of Rome for its consumers for this summer. A press release issued on Wednesday says that customers who buy a Carlsberg beer will get a coupon that will serve as an entry pass for their "Best Bar Tour" scheme, and the winners will win a trip to the Italian city of Rome. The winners will enjoy a weekend at the Colosseum, to watch a gladiator battle.“From Zest Bar to Spago Bar, Rome has a wide range of bars that entertain your modern needs within a historic setting,” says the release. “Zest Bar gives the feel of Miami in Rome, whereas Bartarunga is influenced by the Baroque style” adds the release.



Consisting of a grand interior with flamboyant décor, this bar is a favorite for footballers, models and celebrities and comes with a rather pricey drinks list.





Nembang wins Western Union´s bumper prize



KATHMANDU, June 4: Kusum Nembang, a client of Western Union Money Transfer in Birtamod, Jhapa, has won a Maruti 800 CC car, the bumper prize, under the company´s promotional scheme "Barshai Bhari Sandar Upahar."



Nembang was declared the winner through a lucky draw held recently, says a press release.



Likewise Chandra Bahadur Tamang of Sunsari has won a motorbike under the scheme, while Chandra Kumar Rai and Indra Bahadur Khatri have each won a television set.
