People say friends are those who make you feel worthy even you are a dumb, walk with you even after knowing you are crazy, listen to your nonsense the whole day without complaining. [break]
They guide you through your toughest days, warn you when you take a wrong step. They make up time just to meet you, no matter how busy they are and do their best to bring a smile on your face, when you’re sad and out.
They flatter you even when your work does not even need praise. And I say, friends are those who complete you.
From the very day of our existence, we are bound with many social associations, which we like to term as relationships. Among all the relationships, friendship is the most important, productive and balanced one. Tough to start and easy to break, friendship is different and it is us who get to choose our friends.
In most relationships, one person has control over the other. Parents have control over their children, teachers have control over their students, bosses have control over his employees, and older siblings have control over the younger ones.
There is always a dominant character and a passive one in each relationship. There might be the change of whelm in certain circumstances but the characteristics of the relation remains always the same.
Whereas in friendship, the power sharing remains equal, making it stand out from the rest. Two persons have to be equally competent and dedicated to make a friendship work. Both of the friends deserve equal chunk of success. Friendship doesn’t test you and when it does, you know who your real friends are.
We neither can choose our family members nor can we choose that special someone to fall in love with. But who we have as friends depends on our choice.
They can shape us more than our families and teachers do. As interesting as friendship seems, it’s equally tough to maintain. Thus if a friend does a favor to you, you must be ready to return that favor, which will help keep the balance. So play your role perfectly and I bet you are going to be a true friend.
