POKHARA,  May 31: CPN-UML President Jhalanath Khanal said on Sunday that internal disputes within political parties participating in the government have delayed the formation of a new government.

And this has delayed the formation of a new government," Khanal told reporters at Pokhara Airport. He said his party is for forming a national unity government inducting the Maoists.

He said he is sure the Maoists will participate in the new government and help take the peace process to its logical end.

The UML president categorically refuted the charge that the Nepali Congress and the UNL are playing games to split the Madhesi Janadhikar Forum.

He also said his party is against the demand of the one-Madhesh-one-province demand pushed by the Madhesh-based parties.Khanal appeals for cohesion within parties.
