KATHMANDU, June 7: It has already been 100 years since Tri-Chandra College, the first college of Nepal, was established and from the same year the higher education was formally introduced in Nepal. However, the condition of the infrastructures of this historic college, where the Nepali youths are gaining higher education since a century, is in fragile state.
The historic buildings including the classrooms, library and the toilets are in worst condition. There is no canteen in the college where thousands of students attend the classes each day.
