41st TU Convocation program

The oldest university of the country, Tribhuvan University, held 41st Convocation amid a special program at Dasharath Stadium, Kathmandu on Wednesday.

Hundreds of students from Humanities, Science and Technology, Law, Hotel Management, Forestry and Agriculture, among others, attended the program.

President Bidhya Devi Bhandari, Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli, Education Minister Girirajmani Pokharel and high dignitaries attended the program.

"Students are yet to get their course completed in time as the academic calendar of some faculties of TU are yet to be implemented effectively. TU's physical resources are also deteriorating, while modern technologies including information technology are yet to be utilised fully for management, and learning and teaching activities," the president said in the address.
