SARLAHI, Oct 9: As many as 65 people were injured in a bus collision in Makawanpur district on Sunday morning.
According to police, the incident occurred when a passenger bus, Na 5 Kha 4096, en-route to Sarlahi with passengers from Kathmandu collided head-on with another bus, Na 4 Kha 4343, heading for Nepalgunj from Biratnagar at Ramantar along the Hetauda-Narayangunj road section at 4:45 am today.
Of those injured, 25 are receiving treatment at Bharatpur hospital while 20 are undergoing treatment at Manohari-based hospital, while those sustaining minor injuries have headed for their destination after preliminary treatment, said police.
