A preliminary investigation of the police shows that they have died of asphyxiation.
The deceased have been identified as the house owner Sita Rana, 36, her son Simanta Rana, 11, mother Ganga Kumari Phal, 56, and niece, 28, have been found. It appears that fire has slightly damaged external part of the house.
It is yet to be investigated how the fire broke out since there was no sign of lighting heater and coal.
Two days earlier, father and son had died of suffocation in their own house Lekhanath Municipality.
Police said they are investigating into the case.
