NAWALPARASI, April 9: In what we call ‘a sickeningly unbelievable yet real incident,’ police have held a man for raping his own eight-month-old toddler in the district.

Police have taken a 30-year-old rapist father under control for investigation following a complaint lodged by the victim’s mother.

According to police, the father raped his eight-month-old toddler under the influence of alcohol where there was nobody at home on last Monday.

Police have filed a case against him on Wednesday charging him on incestuous rape, said Police Inspector Diwas Kumar GC of Area Police Office, Gaindakot.

It is known that the perpetrator is a drug addict.

According to police, the victim is undergoing treatment at a hospital and her health condition is pathetic.
