Mini bus entrepreneurs pay compensation for accident deaths

KALAIYA, April 26: The mini-bus entrepreneurs’ association has agreed to provide Rs 400,000 compensation to each of the two persons killed near Bangari bridge along Kalaiya-Birgunj road after they were hit by a minibus on Thursday.



Kedar Thakur and Sharadalal Sah were killed in the accident. The relatives of the deceased and the locals had disrupted the highway, demanding compensation for the victims’ families. The minibus operators’ body agreed to provide the compensation during talks initiated by the district police office.
