POKHARA, Jan 6: With the initiative of District Police Office, Kaski and Community Police Service Center, Baidam, a march was organized against drug abuse on Saturday.
Chanting slogans against drugs abuse, Kaski police urged various stakeholders to join hands with them to end and control drug abuse. The march which proceeded from Hallan Chowk ended at Kedareshwor temple. According to Chief of Kaski Police DSP Ashok Singh, drug abuse has emerged as a serious problem in the country. "This is the reason why we have initiated a campaign to control drug abuse and drug dealings," said DSP Singh. The march was joined by a large number of police, activists and students.
