According to senior doctor at Sukraraj Tropical and Communicable Disease Prevention Hospital, Basu Dev Pandey, viral fever has been seen during every rainy season but this year it is of strong type.

Around 50 patients suffering from viral fever are found to have visited different district hospitals including that of Kathmandu valley every day, said Dr. Pandey.

As viral fever has its strong grip among people in this season and is generally communicated through respiration, it is often advised to keep special cautions to remain far from people with cold and cough, use masks, wash hands and mouth with soap and consume boiled water.

People travelling through public vehicle should be highly alert to keep precautionary measures to avoid such problems.
