MAHOTTARi, Dec 30: Relief materials worth one million rupees were distributed to members of the Musahar community in Maharwa of Gaushala municipality-7.
The members of the community had been reeling under the cold due to cold wave and dense fog that has gripped the tarai region for the past two weeks.
The support was provided by the Chettrapati Free Clinic in Kathmandu. The Clinic provided 102 families with blankets, mattress, track suit, paste, rice and other cereals. Even cash was distributed to the families.
Chairperson of the Free Clinic Management Committee Bijaya Bahadur Mali expressed happiness over being able to provide the support to the needy people. RSS
