KATHMANDU, Aug 3: Nepal has faced yet another batting collapse as the entire Nepali innings skittled for a meager 106 runs in its fifth ICC Under-19 World Cup Qualifier match against Canada in Dublin, Ireland on Wednesday.

After losing the toss and batting first, Nepal was bundled out for the paltry total, with wicket keeper Pradip Airee top scoring with 22. [break]

None of the other Nepali batsmen could take their score above 15, with 23, more than any individual Nepali batsman’s score, coming as extras.

Opener Sagar Pun and Rahul Vishvakarma scored 15 each, while skipper Prithu Baskota and R Pulami contributed 10 each.

Canadian bowlers TRR Manoosingh and K Juvarajan ripped through the Nepali batting lineup snaring six Nepali wickets between them.

Likewise, JS Singh and N Kumar accounted for two Nepali scalps each. Singh was the most economical Canadian bowler who returned with an impressive figure of 7-2-9-2.
