“Many people don’t know that Nepal exists. They usually think that it’s Naples in Italy. And only when you introduce Everest, they recognize you. [break]
So I thought: why not make it my title?” exclaimed the singer.
After a break of five years, this Himali Chhora has come back with Western style music.
He has also included Selo, religious, sentimental and pop music.
“I’ve tried to fuse western music with Nepali folk instruments used in the Himalayan region. I’ve improvised folk tunes and turned them into dance numbers. The music has some flare from the music of the Himalayan region.”

Avinash started his career with hip-pop music fifteen years ago. He said he had worked on his music for five years.
During this interval, he gave concerts in eighteen countries.
“I’ve given concerts at rural areas such as Khumjung, Thahachula, Salleri, and Rasuwa,” he said.
“I found that people in these areas find the Selo type of songs very enjoyable. So I thought I would give this new fusion style and try it in my new album.”
He is very happy that he could learn the local tunes and music at places he had been to. Apart from music, he knows Thangka painting. Avinash has taken formal training for singing from Surendra Mukhiya and Shree Ram Acharya.
His latest album has works of Sugam Pokhrel, Susan Lama, and Kalyan Singh.
The composition is done by Anil Sthapit and Sanjay Baral. Nagarik Shukrabar is the official print partner while the music album is courtesy of Ranjana Music.
“In my videos, I’ve tried to shoot at places, trying to help Nepali tourism. I want to show people that there are beautiful places in Nepal. I didn’t have any funds to go to these places, but they are so breathtaking, I just want to share it with everyone,” Ghising said.
He added, “After this album, I’ll just wait for people’s response. I just don’t want to sing songs for the sake of it; I want people to relate to them. So it might just take another two or three years before I come up with anything else.”
Meanwhile, it is time to listen to Abinash’s latest musical offers.
