Morgan defeated G4 group from Samakhusi 21-10 in its first match played at the Dasharath Stadium covered hall. In its second match, Morgan beat White House ´A´ 13-11. Despite the loss, White House also confirmed its place in the last eight.[brak]
Prime College, which faces VS Niketan in the quarterfinal, defeated Premier 15-06. Likewise, newcomer Liverpool defeated White House ´B´ 19-4 to set up a quarterfinal showdown with White House ´A´.
White House ´B´ also qualified for the quarterfinals where it will meet Morgan ´A´. Despite a 11-10 loss to Unity Boys, Morgan ´B´ was also through to the last eight. Unity will take on National Campus ´A´ for a place in the semifinals.
In the women´s category, Nobel ´A´ will face Xavier International ´A´ in the quarterfinals. Xavier qualified for the knockout phase despite losing 5-4 to Texas ´B´. Texas, however, could not advance into the next round as it was defeated 18-10 by NASA ´A´.
Trinity defeated Rato Bangala 12-9 and fixed its quarterfinal spot. Likewise, NIMS beat Nobel ´C´ 15-8 to set up a quarterfinal clash with Morgan ´B´, which thrashed Kirtipur 14-5. NASA ´A´ also entered the last eight as the winner of Group C.
In the other matches played in women´s category, White House defeated Xavier International 12-5, Nobel ´B´ edged past Morgan ´A´ 11-9 and Nobel ´C´ defeated NASA ´B´ 14-12.
In the men´s category, Nobel ´B´ thrashed NIMS 17-10, VS Niketan ´B´ registered a narrow 17-16 win over Nobel ´A´ and Ideal Model School defeated G4 21-10.
