MOSCOW, April 2: A Russian passenger plane carrying 43 people crashed in Siberia, Russia on Monday, with reports saying at least 31 people were killed.
The crash site lies some 20 miles from the western Siberian city of Tyumen, reports said citing the Emergency Situations Ministry spokeswoman Irina Andrianova. [break]
It is said that there were 39 passengers and four crew on board at the time of crash. The plane, belonging to Russian airline UTair, was bound for the northern Siberian town of Surgut from Tyumen.
