31 injured after speeding passenger bus loses control

DHADING, Sept 12: As many as 31 passengers were injured when a bus en route to Nawalparasi from Kathmandu fell 100 metres below the road at Bishaltaar of Benighat Rorang rural municipality of Dhading this morning.

DHADING, Sept 12: As many as 31 passengers were injured when a bus en route to Nawalparasi from Kathmandu fell 100 metres below the road at Bishaltaar of Benighat Rorang rural municipality of Dhading this morning. 



The bus (Lu 2 Kha 6630) lost control on a turning point at Bishataar and plunged downhill, according to Inspector Krishna Prasad Sapkota of District Police Office, Gajuri. 



The bus carrying 44 passengers lost control due to over speeding. Among the injured, four are reported to be in critical condition. They have been referred to Bir Hospital in Kathmandu for further treatment. 



The rest of the passengers are receiving treatment at Rajmarg Community Hospital based at Malekhu. 13 passengers escaped the deadly accident unscathed. RSS
