KATHMANDU, Oct 3: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal has called a meeting of the three major political parties to dwell on the reconstruction of the local bodies on Monday.
The meeting to be convened at the Prime Minister’s Office in Singha Durbar will dwell on the issues including the reconstruction of the local bodies, said the Secretariat of the Prime Minister’s Office.
The members of the LRBC are also participating in the meeting because there was no agreement among the political parties on the proposal of the reconstruction of the local bodies.
Madhesi parties have been objecting to the agreement reached among the political parties on the delineation of the local bodies based on the existing local clusters.
Helipad to be constructed inside Singha Durbar
The government has given the LRBC a new mandate following the agreement among the political parties.
