3-party-Madhesi Front talks underway in Singha Durbar

KATHMANDU, Oct 6: A meeting between the representatives of the three major parties and Madhesi Front (MF) is underway at the office of the State Affairs Committee in Singha Durbar on Tuesday.

Mahesh Acharya of Nepali Congress, UML leader Agni Kharel and UCPN (Maoist) leader Narayan Kaji Shrestha are from the three parties.


Similarly, Srbendra Nath Shukla of Tarai Madhes Democratic Party, Laxman Lal Karna of Sadbhawana Party, Lal Babu Raut of Federal Socialist Party Nepal and Ram Naresh Raya of Tarai Madhesh Sadbhawana Party are representing the MF.

The MF has submitted a 35 point written proposal at the meeting demanding amendment in the new constitution, said leader Ram Naresh Raya.
