2nd Practice Match: Sharp fielding restricts Ban U-19 to 227

KATHMANDU, Nov 4: Nepal U-19 ran out four Bangladesh U-19 batsmen to restrict them for 227 runs in 50 overs for the loss of eight wickets in the second practice match of the tour played at BKSP ground, Savar.



Nepal won the toss and elected to bowl. Bangladesh skipper Saif Hasan (62) lead by front registering a patient fifty including four boundaries and a six from 115 deliveries. He was dismissed by Sandeep Lamichhane. Afif Hossain also contributed 59 runs to take the Bangla total to 227 in 50 overs. Opener Sojib Hossain, Afif Hossain, Sakil Hossain and Robiul Haque were all run out proving the mantle of Nepali sharp fielding in the match. Lamichhane and Nepal skipper Dipendra Singh Airee picked up two wickets each registering the match figures of 10-0-37-2 and 10-0-34-2 respectively to limit Bangladesh for 227 runs in 50 overs for the loss of eight wickets.
