“Readers will not only take advantage of the heavy discount on books which reaches up to 80 percent but will also get to observe the talks conducted by various writers on varied topics,” informed Ajit Baral, coordinator of the event.
The festival, which will have prominent names in the literary genre to conduct the discussions, will be inaugurated by actor Rajesh Hamal.
While writer journalist Buddisagar is scheduled to give a talk on ‘Father and Son: A Discussion on Karnali Blues’ to share his personal experience with his father, language maven Sharad Wasti and Kedar Sharma are set to speak about ‘Language and Expression.

Similarly, writers Rabi Thapa and Prawin Adhikari will share their thoughts on English writing.
And on the third day, also the International Book Day, Jagadish Ghimire and Rabindra Mishra will give a talk on ‘Literature, Art and Philanthropy.’ Also on the occasion, Dr Baburam Bhattarai, Pradip Giri and Raghuji Pant will throw lights on the decline of reading habits among political leaders.
Also, the festival will have former magazine editors Rajendra Dahal and Sudheer Sharma along with radio activist Raghu Mainali talking on the importance of public interest in journalism.
“Unlike other book festivals, we at Bookworm have tried to include an array of literary talks so that the visitors can make most of the event,” said Baral.
