The first question to be put forward is that is the UN committee led by some powerful countries going beyond borders providing false arrays of hope while keeping their own motive secret?[break]
Is the UN committee trying to gain permit for oil and other valuable resources while bettering the lives of the rebels after Gaddhafi has fallen indebting the country forever to billions of dollars that would have been used to make their lives better?
Or, are they trying to gain support in the UN committee by gaining support of the Libyans? Or, are they trying to establish a puppet government that supports his actions whatever the consequences would be? The possibilities are endless.
It’s not that Libya’s ruler is right. Colonel Gaddhafi and his 40 years of dictatorship must really come to an end. It’s true that Libyans are frustrated by this degree of exploitation.
However, what should be made clear is that is the international community really helping Libyans or is simply exploiting their frustration? The answer is the future.
It should also be noted that no one deserves the pain, sorrow or a civil war. We still can’t forget the terror that has become a shadow of our day to day life that engulfed so many people and in fact has yielded very less satisfactory results.
To be true, there are many forces that lie hidden which are actively participating in keeping humankind in the dark. Some say this is happening “for the love of brotherhood and fraternity”, while others argue “for humanity or for human rights”.
But these statements are swept aside when it comes to the crunch. Freedom fighter or rebels, whatever you would like to call, are washed by the tides of corruption, pollution or even genocide.
And in the end, history lays the tides of our civil war aside. Is this what Libya is trying to attain? Is this the freedom for Libya? Or, is Libya trying to get a new constitution and democracy? Or, is she trying to keep her intact with the 21st century by providing heavy arms to her army and a developed country to her citizens by finishing all her available resources allocated within herself making them poorer?
Whatever path Libya chooses to follow it is certain that Libya will face a long term effect.
This fact will worry Libya more than any other countries. The countries that have the support for her may loose interest. Libya should acknowledge the fact that humans only feel warmth from a burning fire not from a dead one.
That is, after the oil in Libya finishes no one would rather care. This results in another country being just as Ecuador.
