KATHMANDU, Sept 10: The Nepali Army has arrested 26 people accused of looting in different areas of Kathmandu and Bhaktapur.

According to the Army’s Directorate of Public Relations and Information, they were taken into custody on charges of involvement in looting at the Bhatbhateni Supermarket in Radhe Radhe, Bhaktapur, Hotel Hyatt, and the Boudha area.
The Army also stated that five people involved in looting at the Rastriya Banijya Bank branch in New Baneshwar were arrested.
