The group constructed the center after European Union and Nepal government provided the solar water heater worth Rs. 500,000 to start the project. It has invested Rs. 1. 3 million from its fund for the construction.

There are 33 other solar projects under construction in Mustang district after the successful installation of the bath center, said the Manager of the Energy International Mangal Das Maharjan. He said they have been installing the solar system to run computers and solar electricity in different eight schools, establish four information centers and others.

The hot-water-bath center can help increase tourists stay in the district where there is excessive cold throughout the year, said Coordinator of Mustang Tourism Committee Chandra Bahadur Thakali. He stressed on the need for launching such services in other parts of the district as well.

The solar energy could be the better means to help the district dwellers as most of the places in the district warmed up with the sunlight for about seven hours though it is cold round the year.
