BHAKTAPUR, Sept 9: In a tragic accident on the Araniko Highway in Bhaktapur, two motorcycles collided, resulting in the immediate death of one individual.
The Bhaktapur Police Range has identified the victim as 25-year-old Nabina Kafle Ghimire, a resident of Ghimire village in Kavre Banepa Municipality-2.
Elderly woman dies in accident at Suryabinayak
The collision occurred at the Adarsha area, located under the Araniko Highway near Adarsh Bhaktapur Fuel Center in Bhaktapur. Two motorcycles were involved in the accident: one with the registration number Bagmati Province-02-023 Pa 2859, traveling from Jagati towards Surya Vinayak, and the other with the registration number Bagmati Province 3-02-002 Pa 693, heading to the opposite direction.
According to the Bhaktapur Police Range, the collision was caused after one of the motorcycles lost control and collided with another vehicle and motorcycle on its way from Suryavinayak to Jagati. Both motorcyclists sustained injuries in the accident and have been admitted for medical treatment at Madhyapur Hospital in Thimi.
