Why have you planned to launch new products at Midas CAN Info-Tech 2013?
We are launching a new phablet Zync Cloud Z5 and two calling tablets: Zync Z 1000 and Zync Z99 at CAN Info-Tech to provide information about the new brand as it is the best platform and the footfall is very high.
Will the customers get the newly-launched devices at the event itself or you are just taking the bookings?
As we have only a limited number of devices right now due to delayed shipment, a few customers will get the devices while for others we will take the bookings. Customers will have to pay 10 percent of the total price to book the device and they will get it within 10 to 12 days.
Will you provide any discount or offer on your products?
We will be providing up to 25 percent discount on the new devices from Zync. Besides, we will be providing a rechargeable desk lamp free with every purchase of Fly mobiles. Fly mobiles are available in the range of Rs 1,900 to Rs 5,200.
Traders have been complaining that the grey import has been hampering the sales of mobile phones. What should be done to address this?
Definitely, the grey import has hampered the sales of mobile phones as those entering the market through illegal channels are available at very cheap rates. To control this, market monitoring should be conducted at regular intervals and the VAT on mobile phones should be reduced. In addition, customers themselves should be aware and purchase mobiles and other devices only from authorized dealers.
