"If peace and stability prevail in Nepal, it will have a bearing on this region. If instability and anarchy exist in Nepal, it will affect the whole of Asia," UML Foreign Department member Udaya Raj Pandey quoted He as saying to the delegation on Monday.

Recalling how the monarchy was eliminated by the parties when they were united, He urged the political parties to move ahead in consensus.

He also said the Chinese policy is not to "interfere" in the internal affairs of Nepal and not to "tolerate" if others interfere in Nepali affairs.

Diaries to CA members

Nepalis residing in Hong Kong have sent dairies to CA members to symbolically remind the latter to draft a new constitution within the extended deadline that expires on May 28, 2011.

In the 20-page diary, the Nepalis have asked the CA members to draft a pro-people constitution and logically conclude the peace process.
