The travel itinerary of Yadav does not include Beijing and meeting with Chinese President Hu Jintao.
Yadav´s tour will begin from Tibet where he is scheduled to visit the Potala Palace and meet local Chinese officials.
He will reach Shanghai on October 29 after a two-day sojourn at old Chinese capital Shiyan.
Whether Yadav will separately call on Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao is yet to be confirmed. Yadav will return home on November 1.
