BIRGUNJ, March 18: At least seven people were injured when a bomb exploded at a fruit shop near Maisthan in Birgunj at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday.
Police said three of the injured--Basanta Lama of Sarlahi, Samit Jaiswal of Simraungadh, Bara and Laddu Sah of Birgunj –have been seriously injured and undergoing treatment at Narayani Sub-regional Hospital in Birgunj.

Akhil Tarai Mukti Morcha (ATMM) has owned responsibility for the blast. Central Regional Commander of the Morcha, Kuber, informed media persons in telephone about his group´s hand in the explosion.
The explosion took place a day after police arrested the Morcha’s city in-charge Bisphot Singh.
