Students of five districts in the zone, who had to go out for higher education after completing their bachelor´s degree, are now glad to be getting the facility here. “I will get the master´s degree here,” said Jageshwar Upadhyay, teacher at the Karnali Secondary School who completed his bachelor´s from Jumla Campus. Campus Chief Rudra Timilsina attributed the acquisition of permission to run master´s degree to the collective effort of the Constituent Assembly (CA) member from Jumla, campus and the students. The District Development Committee has offered to deposit Rs 600,000 required for a campus to run the master´s program.
Timilsina said there has been no appointment of teachers for the program but revealed that all those from the zone who have an EPM degree have been requested. The campus said 40 students have been admitted for the master´s program so far.
