GAUR, Oct 3: Two people died and three are missing after being swept away by Lakhandehi River while they were crossing the river. They were returning from Lalbandhi municipality-2, after receiving dashain tika.

The missing have been identified as Radhika Dhungana, 27, Krismat Dhungana, 7, Kritika Dhungana, 4, and Kriti Dhungana , 1, of Gadhimai Munucipality-1. According to local police, the dead body of Kriti was found on Tuesday morning.
Likewise, Bhimmaya Kafle, a local of Lalbandhi municipality-2, also died while he was swept away by the same river when he was looking after his cattle. His dead body was found on Tuesday morning near Bharathawa municipality-6.
