2 die extracting sand

KATHMANDU, Jan 3: Two people died in the Tinau River in Butwal, after being buried under the sand when they were trying to extract sand from the river. According to Kantipur Television, the dead are Balaram Khadka, 48 and Sitya Sunar, 18 of Pragatinagar, Butwal. The channel quoted the police as saying that the two died after a huge mass of sand fell on them unexpectedly from the top.
