TAPLEJUNG, Jan 19: Two people have died after they fell off the cliffs in different places of the district.
The deceased have been identified as Sundakpa Sherpa-31 of Papung VDC-3 and Ram Bahadur Mabo, 45 of Telko VDC-1.

According to District Police Chief DSP Ram Bahadur KC, Sherpa died on the spot after he fell off a cliff while collecting fodders for livestock.
Similarly, Ram Bahadur Mabo, 45 of Telko VDC-1 died after falling off a cliff while he was returning home after attending a wedding reception.
He, too, died on the spot, said Kaji Bhattari, a local.
