2 ‘burglars’ land in police net

KATHMANDU, July 29: Police have arrested two burglars for their alleged involvement in robberies from Thamel area on Friday morning.

KATHMANDU, July 29: Police have arrested two burglars for their alleged involvement in robberies from Thamel area on Friday morning.



A special squad deployed from Metropolitan Police Sector, Lainchaur, caught Raj Lama and Bal BahadurTamang on the alleged charge of robbery this morning.

Police have also recovered Rs 20,000 cash looted from Thamel and Rs 100,000 cash robbed from Kavre district, said DSP Somendra Singh Rathor, chief of Metropolitan Police Sector, Lainchaur.


DSP Rathor said they are investigating into the case.
