Mugling-Narayanghat road remains obstructed

CHITWAN, July 11: The Mugling-Narayanghat road remains obstructed since this morning, due to landslides trigged by the incessant rainfall on Saturday night.



The road has been blocked due to a landslide at Darechowk near the Khahare river, Mugling Police has said.



A large number of passengers have been left stranded on the road since the landslide took place at around five early this morning.



A police team has been dispatched to the site from Mugling, while a dozer from the Road Division Office, Bharatpur has begun removing the mudslide, police said.



Landslides along this section of the road have been a regular feature during monsoon.
