Mother Shantimaya, her mother-in-law Kanchimaya, 70, and daughters Bishnumaya, 17, and Binu, 15, were attacked with knifes by the robbers, Dolakha police said.[break]
A group of seven masked robbers broke into the house in the midnight knowing that there were no males.
The robbers took Binu as captive after injuring other members of the family. She was safely released around 4 a.m. in the morning from Thansa of the same village.
Though the police managed to reach the house at around 1 a.m. but failed to nab the robbers. Police said they have intensified the search.
Critically injured Shantimaya and Bishnumaya are sent to Kathmandu for the further treatment while others are receiving treatment at Dolakha Community Hospital.
