Cars from Mazda stable

KATHMANDU, May 29: Mazda cars are known world over for their stylish design and luxurious features to pamper their users. It started producing four-wheelers from as early as 1920 in the name of Toyo Cork Kogyo Company Ltd in Hiroshima. The company reached the milestone of 40 million units of cumulative vehicle production in Japan in 2007.



Padmashree Pvt Ltd, the authorized distributor of Mazda cars in Nepal, has been selling the cars for the last two decades. It is currently selling seven different models of Mazda cars -- Mazda BT 50´s high and mid models, Mazda 3´s V-grade and S-grade, Mazda 2´s V-grade and S-grade, and Mazda 6. [break]



Mazda BT 50 is the truck model vehicle. It is available in high and mid range. Padmashree has so far sold 300 units of high range Mazda BT 50 and 200 units of Mazda BT 50 in the market. The mid-range BT 50 has heater, two speakers and dual airbag, whereas the high-range one has additional air conditioner, alloy wheel footstep and fog lamp.



Mazda 2 - a hatchback - was recently launched in the market. Mazda 2 S-grade has dual airbag, fog lamp, power steering and power mirror, while the V-grade has additional steering control system and alloy wheels. The swift, small and spacious Mazda 2 has a great pick up and comfortable interiors.



Mazda 3 is a car with an appealing look and it is very popular in the market. The Mazda 3 S-grade has dual airbag, sun visor, fog lamp, key less entry, power windows and power mirror, while the V-grade has additional features like control keys in steering, alloy wheels, LCD screen and central lock system. Padmashree has already sold 150 units of Mazda 3 V-grade and 120 units of S-grade.



Mazda 6 is the high-end four-wheeler available in the market. The car with the sporty look has catchy features like electric seat, softer leather seat, keyless entry, dual airbag, leather steering, steering control keys, keyless entry, alloy wheels, power mirror and power windows.



Padmashree Company is preparing to shift its showroom and service center situated in Naxal to Gyaneshwar very soon.
