In their last selection match on Tuesday, Nuwakot registered a thumping 55-run win over Tribhuvan University (TU) at the TU Cricket Ground, Kirtipur to top the table with eight points. [break]
In another match, Lalitpur registered a comfortable 64-run victory over Kathmandu to secure second place with equal four points as that of third placed Kathmandu and fourth placed TU on the basis of run rate. Bhaktapur hit the bottom of the table with no points in their account.
Electing to bat first, Nuwakot garnered 142 runs losing seven wickets and restricted TU to 87 runs as they lost all wickets playing 20 overs. Suman Uday (46), Pramod Basnet (unbeaten 36) and Rikesh Lama (35) contributed for Nuwakot.

In another match, choosing to bat first, Lalitpur collected 134 runs losing seven wickets and bundled out Kathmandu for 70 runs in 18.4 overs.
Paresh Lohani of Kathmandu, Sudeep Sharma of TU and Pramod Basnet of Nuwakot took home the best batsman, bowler and player of the series award respectively.
