A spokeswoman for the regional police, Magdalena Siczek-Zalewska, said the crash occurred early Tuesday morning on a local road near Nowe Miasto, some 50 miles (80 kilometers) south of Warsaw. [break]
She said one person is hospitalized with serious injuries. Police are investigating the cause of the crash.
