KATHMANDU, Sept 26: A bus accident in Dang has resulted in injuries to 17 individuals, with one of them in critical condition. The accident occurred at approximately 6:30 this morning along the East-West Highway in Amilia.
SP Ram Bahadur KC at the District Police Office in Dang reported that the accident involved a passenger bus with the registration number Karnali Province-02-001 Kha-0362, traveling from Kathmandu to Surkhet.

SP KC stated that the critically injured person has been urgently transported to Kohalpur for advanced medical treatment. He further mentioned that the remaining injured passengers have varying degrees of injuries, with some in moderate condition and others in stable condition. They are receiving medical care at both Lamhi Hospital and Kohalpur.
The exact cause of the accident has not yet been determined, and investigations are ongoing.
