17 dead bodies of Nepali migrant workers stuck in Malaysia to be brought back home on Saturday

KATHMANDU, Jan 22: The national flag-carrier, Nepal Airlines Corporation is conducting a flight to bring back 17 dead bodies of Nepali migrant workers stuck in Malaysia.

KATHMANDU, Jan 22: The national flag-carrier, Nepal Airlines Corporation is conducting a flight to bring back 17 dead bodies of Nepali migrant workers stuck in Malaysia.


A wide-body, B-300 will fly to Kuala Lumpur, the capital of Malaysia, this mid night at around 11 PM from Tribhuvan International Airport. A wide-body has a capacity of carrying 18 dead bodies at once.

The national flag carrier will land at TIA at around 8:40 on Saturday morning.


The Nepali migrant workers had died of various illnesses in Malaysia.


The Nepal Airline Corporation has been conducting evacuation flights from time to time to bring Nepalis stranded abroad back home despite the COVID-19 pandemic and lockdowns.
