The union called off the banda in the afternoon after a meeting at the district administration office agreed to hold an all-party meeting on April 23 and punish the guilty for the attack on NSU cadres by YCL cadres a few days ago.
Despite calling off the banda, transport services on Pasang Lhamu highway remained disrupted.
The banda was called demanding legal action against YCL cadres, who attacked NSU cadres on April 11.
Transport services in Trishuli-Kathmandu road section along Pasang Lhamu Highway and Trishuli-Dhunche road section were disrupted. Normal life in the district had been also affected.
