World Bank to help Druk Air

KATHMANDU,Feb 19: An agreement between International Finance Corporation (IFC) of the World Bank and Bhutan´s national carrier- Druk Air- has been signed on reviewing the airline´s operations to increase efficiency and providing better services to passengers at affordable cost.



Under the agreement, the IFC would evaluate the airline´s finances and operations and make recommendations that can help Druk Air operate at its full potential, including exploring the possibility of attracting private investors, said a press release issued by IFC on Thursday.
