GORKHA, Feb 26: Visiting Danish Prince Joachim Holger Waldemar Christian has shown his concern toward the pathetic health condition of the quake victims in Gorkha.

The Danish Prince expressed his concern for the quake victims while paying a visit to Care Nepal building reconstructed at Naya Sanghu of Gankhu VDC.

Worried about the health of the quake victims, he asked many questions to Sarita Gurung, in-charge of a local health post, about the condition of the health post before the earthquake and how it was planning to cope with the difficulties now.

Responding to his queries, Gurung informed him about the difficulty faced by the health post due to the lack of an ambulance and enough manpower. She also told him that they were obliged to refer the patients to other health posts due to the lack of enough equipment.

According to Gurung, the health post receives from 25 to 45 patients a day.

The Danish Prince, who arrived in Nepal on February 24 on a 10-day visit at the invitation of Care Nepal, visited Gorkha on Sunday.
