KATHMANDU, Jan 12: Nagarik Unmukti Party (NUP) has elected Resham Chaudhary as its chairman unanimously.
Chaudhary was unanimously elected as the chairman from the first convention of the party held in Tikapur.
His ascension comes on the heels of his previous role as the chairman of the NUP, a position earlier filled by his wife, Ranjita Shrestha.
Ranjita is currently the Minister for Land Management, Cooperatives and Poverty Alleviation.
