138 new acts needed to implement constitution: Minister Kharel

KATHMANDU, June 19: Minister for Law Agni Kharel has briefed today's parliament meeting about the latest cabinet decision as it had approved work schedule to implement the constitution.

KATHMANDU, June 19: Minister for Law Agni Kharel has briefed today's parliament meeting about the latest cabinet decision as it had approved work schedule to implement the constitution. 


He shared that 315 acts should be amended adding that 193 acts were about to be tabled in the parliament for the amendment for the implementation of the constitution.

Minister Kharel further said that 14 bills so far have been passed and have come into effect. He added that 138 new acts are required to be formulated to implement the constitution and urged all to cooperate in the constitution implementation process as it was a common duty of all. RSS
