KATHMANDU, Dec 24: Nepali Congress (NC) lawmakers have demanded the formation of a new government under the leadership of party President Sher Bahadur Deuba.

The newly-elected people's representatives from the NC met President and Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba at his residence in Baluwatar on Saturday and demanded the formation of a new government under his own leadership, according to lawmaker Chanda Chaudhari. They argued that NC must lead the new government as it has emerged as the largest party in the House of Representatives.
